on my reading list

If you're a self taught knitter (like me) then half the time you don't know what the heck you're doing! Having a little book to answer questions or give tips is always helpful. Vicki Howell put together the perfect, purse sized volume, Knit Aid, and she does a great job selling it:

I totally want to be her when I grow up! Haircut and all.

I have never seen Vicki's show as I do not own a tv. Have heard alot about her though!

Thank you so much for mentioning my book! I really appreciate the support.

Oh, and you too can have this haircut--just tell your stylelist to cut it so it looks like someone when after it with an egg beater. ;)

Knit on!,
Vickie

This book does look great doesn't it. I was eyeing it off on youtube last week! Oh, and I'm glad you ordered the Mixtape zine. It's such a good read. When I discovered it I went and ordered the back-copies as well, and they were all really good. Kinda nice to read a magazine that's not necessarily all glossy and slick too!
